“Challenging Christian youth to speak out”

The Media Challenge video workshop is a week-long, intensive, hands-on course that will give high school teens everything they need to produce videos that engage their peers.

The goal for the week is for participants to produce a video that is clearly ‘by youth, for youth,’ challenging their peers to build a life and world view that follows and glorifies Jesus Christ.

Check out these highlights of the workshop week:

See It

Preview some of the best stuff being produced in video. Talk to the pros. Compare styles and creative themes. Determine what ‘works’ for youth.

Learn It

The whole creative and technical process is shown, illustrated, explained, diagramed, and taught in simple and practical ways. Questions are encouraged.

Do it

Do it

Get your hands on the equipment, try out the camera, test the audio levels, roll tape, put the edit computer through its paces and render the final project. Do it all, and experience the joy of creativity.

Pass It On

Pass it on

Final projects will be compiled, burned to disk, shown in churches and youth meetings, and shared with friends and peers. The best will be posted online. Getting the message out is the heart of the challenge.
